i'm watching a movie about beatniks today...not a documentary but an exploitation film from the 50's...apparently people were afraid of these goofballs for smoking "tea" and dancing to "be-bop" or whatever crap those posers were into...you guys ever read those crappy beat books?, talk about the most overrated bunch of shit...i actually quoted Ginsberg in my senior yearbook, i still cringe when i see it...i guess we cant all be cool...at least i quoted born against too, but it barely cancels it out...later daddy-o.

Completely agree re: Beats. Also Hemingway, who was never regarded as a heavyweight, except by himself. Oh and I guess "future generations" ... but what do they know
